I am aware of concerns raised in surrounding communities regarding drinking water quality following the recent severe weather and historic rainfall.
I want to assure our residents that our Village staff continues to actively test and monitor both our water treatment facilities and the quality of the water within the Village of Iola. We follow established testing protocols and maintain ongoing oversight of our systems.
The safety of our residents remains my highest priority.
With additional rain and the potential for more storms, our team is also closely monitoring conditions at the Village of Iola dam. We are taking all necessary steps to ensure continued safety and stability.
I encourage everyone to:
Check on friends, family members, and neighbors;
Stay aware of conditions in surrounding communities; and,
Offer support where it is needed.
Central Wisconsin has been impacted by a significant amount of rainfall, and many communities are facing challenges. What makes this region strong is how closely connected we are and how we support one another during times like this.
