BACK TO SCHOOL activities are underway across the area as the third annual Iola-Scandinavia Back to School Family Week continues through Aug. 28. Sponsored by the Iola-Scandinavia Chamber of Commerce, the event features localized programming, promotions, and family activities designed to support the community.

PARKS COMMITTEE MEMBERS met Monday afternoon at Iola Village Hall to address local development and maintenance items. The agenda included updates on dog park signage, revisions to the outdoor recreation plan, local rabbit control measures, and new fundraising ideas.
