Revyn Schrank of Iola-Scandinavia finished second in the girls 5,000-meter race at the Standing Rocks cross country event, clocking 22 minutes, 5.30 seconds.

Penelope Ayala won the girls race. Schrank’s performance paced the Iola-Scandinavia contingent on the course at Standing Rocks Park. Schrank’s runner-up effort highlighted the day for Iola-Scandinavia. She trailed only Ayala across the finish line while posting the top time among the school’s girls entrants.

Nola Mae Vater placed 32nd for Iola-Scandinavia in 27:13.40, and Ari Hahn finished 35th in 27:20.40.

In the boys 5,000-meter race, Evan Linjer led the Iola-Scandinavia runners with a 21st-place finish in 20:05.20. Brecken Stalter placed 46th in 23:01.00.
