
The Scandinavia Town Board will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 10, at 5:30 p.m. at the Scandinavia Municipal Center, where members will consider liquor licenses, address ongoing road and property concerns, and review several administrative matters.
The board will take up approval of a liquor license and operator licenses for Silver Lake Lanes, along with a temporary Class “B”/Class “B” retailer’s license and operator license for the Iola Car Show, Inc.
In old business, the board will discuss several road-related issues, including the Vandyke Junk/Salvage Yard, Ron Gavin Junk/Salvage Yard, and Randy Stuczynski’s concerns on Oak Ridge Road. Members will also receive an update on a conditional use permit for Knauer, review plans for a new 2027 ambulance with Iola Ambulance Service, and address the municipal center parking lot. A bi-annual bridge inspection by the Waupaca County Highway Department will be noted, and the board will set a date for the Board of Review.
Additional agenda items include a planning commission report, treasurer’s report, approval of the clerk’s minutes and agenda, and consideration of bills and correspondence. The board will also discuss open positions on the town board.
Public input will be permitted, limited to three minutes per speaker. The meeting will conclude with information on backing up a laptop and adjournment.
