Kenneth Herbert Blanchard

August 31, 1952 – July 21, 2026

Kenneth Herbert Blanchard, 73, of Iola, Wisconsin, went to his heavenly home on July 21, 2026.

He was born on Aug. 31, 1952, in Blaine, Minnesota, to Kenneth and Betty (Kittle) Blanchard.

Ken married Judy Lindsey on Oct. 21, 1978, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. She survives.

He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and worked as a technician on the Blackbird SR71 and U-2 spy planes. He enjoyed bowling, watching war movies, and playing Bingo with Judy.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Murray; parents, Kenneth Blanchard and Betty Blanchard-Finner; brothers, Glenn and Shannon; and step-father, Rollie Finner.

Interment and Military Rites will take place at Our Savior’s Lutheran Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at Silver Lake Lanes in Scandinavia from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29.
