The Iola Village Board will consider launching an official Facebook page and review updates to a lake district agreement during its upcoming working board meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

The session will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Iola Village Hall, located at 180 S. Main Street. Trustees will follow Robert’s Rules of Order during the proceedings, which require all attendees to refrain from speaking unless granted the floor.

The first major item centers on public communication, with trustees discussing whether to establish an official Facebook page for the village. Following that discussion, officials will review an updated Memorandum of Understanding regarding the Iola Lake District. Board members are also scheduled to undergo training exercises later in the session.

Trustees may also address any other business that legally comes before the board before voting to adjourn.
