The Iola Parks Committee will review an outdoor recreation plan and discuss hiring an engineering firm during its upcoming meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 23.

The session will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Village of Iola Clerk’s Office, located at 180 S. Main Street. Committee Chairperson Aaron Messier will lead the proceedings alongside committee members Pamela Parks and Alan Bauer. Attendees will follow Robert’s Rules of Order, which requires participants to refrain from speaking unless granted the floor.

Committee members will focus the session on two primary agenda items. They will first review and edit the village’s Outdoor Recreation Plan, which was developed by the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission. After that review, the committee will discuss using an engineering firm for community projects. The committee will open with a roll call and may address other unscheduled business before setting its next meeting date and voting to adjourn.
