The Iola Lions Club gathered for its April meeting at Silver Lake Lanes on Monday, April 20.

Morgan Pease, Operations Manager of the Iola Winter Sport Club, was the featured guest speaker. Pease updated attendees on the club’s ongoing capital campaign, which aims to add miles of new mountain bike trails, expand event facilities, and implement significant snowmaking upgrades to enhance winter reliability.

To date, the Iola Winter Sport Club has secured approximately $750,000 toward its $2.5 million fundraising goal. During the meeting, Lion Diana Jones presented Pease with a $2,500 check, marking the first installment of a four-year commitment totaling $10,000 from the Iola Lions Club.
