The Iola-Scandinavia Family Week Committee launches another Back to School Family Week from Aug. 22-28, inviting local businesses to sponsor a beloved community tradition that unites families with free, fun events at the start of the school year.

The weeklong celebration has grown into a cherished annual event for families in the Iola-Scandinavia area. It brings neighbors together through a series of family-friendly activities that foster community connections while helping families ease into the new academic calendar.

Sponsorship opportunities help keep the events accessible at little or no cost to families. Levels include Honor Roll at $250 or more, Star Student at $100, Classroom Helper at $50, and School Store through donations of gift cards or merchandise. In return, businesses receive prominent exposure in promotional materials, event signage, and sponsor recognition throughout the week.

The committee accepts sponsorship commitments through Saturday, Aug. 1, to ensure inclusion in all materials.
