Camille Angeline Nowakowski

Camille Angeline Nowakowski, 83, of Scandinavia, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026.

She was born on April 22, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Henry and Phyllis Ernst.

Camille married Gene Nowakowski, the love of her life, on July 21, 1973, in Milwaukee. She was a loving and caring wife to Gene for 53 years.

Camille enjoyed going for rides in the country, cooking, and baking cookies. Some of her hobbies were bow hunting, bowling, doing crossword puzzles, and quilting. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with family and friends. She really enjoyed the company of her friends at the coffee clutch.

She is survived by her husband, Gene; dear friends, Kelly and Jason Mallo (their children, Courtney and Zach Mallo), and Bob and Loreen Marek; special nieces, Lori Welch and Julie Brede; sister, Patricia Ripple; brother, Jerome Ernst; brother-in-law, Daniel (Nancy) Nowakowski and family; along with many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald (Darlene) Ernst; sister-in-law, Bonnie Ernst; and special friend, Marleen Volz.

Camille will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts!
