Persons interested in submitting written comments about their concerns with the proposed sand mine on Iola Car Show property have until Friday, April 7, at noon to have them filed.

Written comments should be sent by U.S. mail to: Gary Marx, Scandinavia Town Chairman, E1144 County Road V, Scandinavia, WI 54977.

The informational meeting on the mine will be held on Wednesday, April 12, at 6 p.m. at the Waupaca County Courthouse, 811 Harding Street, Room LL42.

Electronic copies of the application and reclamation can be obtained at the Waupaca County Zoning website under “Announcements” in the center column.

The application and operations and reclamation plan documents were notarized on Feb. 7.
