ROOF REPAIR: Roof work on the I-S Fitness and Aquatic Center has started and the crews will be here for about 3-4 weeks. The goal is to complete all roofing projects by the end of November.
NO IOLA SAND MINE: An appraisal report for properties near the sand mine has been made available. You can read it here. This is a very detailed report that shows that homes within one mile of the proposed sand mine will decrease in value. Homes abutting the sand mine will decrease by around 25 percent, and even homes within one mile will decrease between 3-10 percent, according to the report.
