Interesting Facts

While browsing the internet, some interesting facts emerge that are worth sharing. These are a few recently seen.

BABIES AND COLOR: Which color do newborn babies see first? The brain at that stage doesn’t perceive colors like older children do. A few weeks after birth, red comes into focus, followed by green. At about five months, babies can see the full spectrum of color but not as vividly as adults.

ELBOWS ON TABLE: Seems the etiquette tradition stems from a Bible verse in the Book of Ecclesiastes: “Be ashamed of breaking an oath or a covenant, and of stretching your elbow at dinner.” Today, it stops slouching at the table or people leaning their arms into food dishes. Also, when you lean forward to rest on your elbows, you stop making eye contact with those seated on either side of you.
