• MOVING: A Personal Touch Pet Salon will be moving its Scandinavia location to its Iola location effective Feb. 6. January 28-Feb. 5 there will be limited hours due to the move.

• COMMUNITY SKI NIGHT: The Iola Winter Sports Club’s Community Ski Night is Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 5-8 p.m. Cost $5 per person, includes equipment rentals, hot cocoa, and hot dogs. This family-fun event will be a great opportunity for local kids and families to get out and enjoy the fun and beauty of our trails.

• MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT: Come out for Military Appreciation Night! ISHS NHS, DECA, and FCCLA are co-sponsoring a military appreciation night Feb. 3 during the High School Boys Basketball game against Weyauwega-Fremont.
