• FIRST PLACE: Taking first place in the Iola Winter Carnival’s Ice Sculpture Contest were Josh and Kristy Stacy with a trout.

• PRZEKURAT TO PURSUE OTHER INTERESTs: Iola-Scandinavia School District Administrator Ray Przekurat will pursue other interests at the end of the 2022-23 school year. Chris Nelson, current middle school/high school principal, has been offered the district administrator position and he has accepted starting July 1. • SCANDINAVIA BOOSTER CLUB: Cyberscammers have taken operational control of the group’s website, according to a post of its Facebook page. Please do not try to access the website   as it will “redirect you to malicious sites that could house malware that is harmful to your device.”
