Virginia Lynn Adams

February 3, 1952 – December 14, 2021

Virginia Lynn Adams, age 69, of Amherst, Wisconsin, formerly of Iola, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021.

She was born on Feb. 3, 1952, to Byron and Charlotte (Stone) Adams.

She loved her daughter and grandson with her whole heart. She loved watching the Brewers, Bucks and Packers. Her cats were very special to her. She loved to buy and fix up houses. She enjoyed playing cards and dice with family and friends.

She enjoyed her time as the Iola-Scandinavia’s crossing guard for over 18 years. She worked for Iola and Amherst BP for over 20 years. The friendships and family she made there was very special to her. She loved her time working at Woodys & Churneys in Waupaca, where she made some lasting friendships.

She loved to bake, just like her mother.

She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews Brad, Troy, Melissa, Eric, Adrian, and Tammy Jean. She loved her Stone, Neuser, and Wright cousins. She will be missed by her best friend Chris Mork.

Virginia is survived by her daughter Jean Marie Barth; two sisters Kathleen (Richard) Diestler and Sandy (Ed) Peters; grandson Brandon Michael Barth; brother Bob (Debbie) Adams of Arizona; and, ex-son-in-law Dennis Barth. She was preceded in death by father Byron Gordon Adams and mother Charlotte Frances Stone Adams.

A Celebration of Life will be held later in the spring.
