The Village of Scandinavia Planning Commission will hold a public hearing beginning at about 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31, in the Scandinavia Municipal Center Community Room.

The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comments for the proposed amendment.  Individuals interested in the following issues are encouraged to attend.  Individuals interested in submitting a written comment to the Planning Commission can do so before Oct. 10, by emailing the Clerk (clerk@villageofscandinavia.com), letter placed in the marked locked drop box outside the Municipal Center, or by mail to be received by Oct. 10 (P.O. Box 24, Scandinavia, WI 54977).

Petitions/Appeals: The Village of Scandinavia Board requests the Plan Commission add “Dog Breeding Facility” to the chart of conditional uses in Article F of Sec 9-1-23 under single-family, residential.

Deliberation: The Board will accept and review all pertinent information relative to the above-listed items.

Decision: Upon the close of the Public Hearing, the meeting of the Village of Scandinavia Board will reconvene to consider the recommendations of the Plan Commission per the Agenda.
