The Village of Iola Board held its caucus on Jan. 11 at 5:45 p.m. in the Iola Community Center.

The meeting was called to order by President Joel Edler at 5:45 p.m.

President Edler led the Pledge of Allegiance and was followed by a moment of silence.

Roll call was done by Clerk Betty Aanstad. Board present: President Joel Edler, Jim Rasmussen, Dave Harper, Terry Murphy; Virtual: Kathy Briquelet, Pamela Parks; Others present: Clerk Betty Aanstad, Acting Chief Zierler, Virtual: Jennifer Schustek and Bruce Meagher.

Joel Edler was appointed caucus chair.

Open floor nomination for Village President

Dave Harper nominated Jennifer Schustek for village president. Pamela Parks seconded the motion. No other nominations were made.

Open floor nominations for Trustees

Dave Harper nominated Jim Rasmussen for trustee; Terry Murphy seconded.

Kathy Briquelet nominated Pamela Parks for trustee; Terry Murphy seconded.

Pamela Parks nominated Kathy Briquelet for trustee; Terry Murphy seconded.

After hearing no other nominations, Dave Harper made the motion to close trustee nominations. Pamela Parks seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Jim Rasmussen made a motion to adjourn caucus. Dave Harper seconded. Motion carried.

Joel Edler adjourned the caucus at 6 p.m.
