Consideration of BG & Associates, LLC taking over the Village of Iola CDBG-RLF Housing Rehabilitation Program.

Consideration of Operator’s License for Tina Peterson & Michael Nowak, 10la Corner Bar

Consideration of naming the alley between the Library & Methodist Church (behind the Community Iola Community Center), starting at W. Iola Street to W. State Street due North to Library Lane and giving the upper level of the Municipal Building (Library) the address of 020 Library Lane.

Update by legal counsel regarding Summit Street, between West Iola Street and Depot Street.

Consideration of moving Clerk’s Office into Old Board Room and Chamber into Clerk’s

Public Property and Streets: Depot Street (starting at Oak Street, west to Townline Road (end at Townline), Update – Bids closing April 21, Opening bids: April 26, 10 a.m.; Update condemnation of properties in the village (legal counsel): Update on meeting with Knuettle family, Update letter DeSautels Properties (lawyer), Update on Christianson property. Offered property to a number of; Update on consideration of bids for village wide garbage pickup. April Update – GFL has provided the Village with a tentative quote for residential containers. We are currently waiting on Harter’s quote. GFL is also, going to sending us a quote for business dumpsters. As of February 11th, 2022; we only have 150 interested. Would like to get at least 200 containers before we contact the companies). As of March 2, 2022, project on hold until May meeting to try and get more residence interested.

Update on Nursing Home Bankruptcy (legal counsel?): Update – Village was notified by closing company end of March that closing has been delayed for ILA and Willows until end of April 2022.
