The Iola Village Board of Trustees will meet on Monday, June 8, at 6 p.m. in the Senior Room at Iola Community Center.
This meeting and all other meetings of the Village Board are open to the public. Proper notice has been posted in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes so the citizenry may be aware of the time, place and agenda of this meeting.
The Village Board asks that all participants of this meeting silence their cell phones until after the meeting had adjourned. The meeting will also be held online at GoToMeetings. New Business
Policies for re-opening public facilities the village owns for public gatherings (community center rooms/shelters). Request to use the senior center, by Norske Needlers to hold gatherings.
Regulations and requirement upgrade expenses, example the library.
Library would like to use the village property for a StoryWalk from Iola Street to the alley as part of their summer program, during July 1 through Aug. 9 to display a Story Walk. They would place 14 signs in the grass (removable for mowing) at 6-foot distance between signs. For people to read as they are out walking.
Hire someone for the summer to do odd jobs and also to take over elections for remainder of 2020.
