The Vikings’ offense was spearheaded by Logan Moe, who went 3-for-4, including a triple, and scored three runs. RJ Rosenthal contributed significantly, going 2-for-3, and Braden Hunkins added to the offensive barrage with a 2-for-4 performance, including a double and two RBIs.
On the other side, Plover struggled to generate momentum. Kevin Jastromski stood out with a 2-for-3 effort, while Derek Lemmons and Bennett Klish each added a hit in three at-bats.

In an intense and thrilling 13-inning game, the Scandinavia Vikings edged out the New London team with a narrow 3-2 victory in Week 7 of the Badger Amateur Baseball Association season. The game, a showcase of resilience and competitive spirit, saw both teams battling hard but it was the Vikings who ultimately clinched the win.
The Vikings took an early lead, with RJ Rosenthal making significant contributions. Rosenthal went 2-for-5 and scored a crucial run, setting the tone for his team. Jesse Dickert and Ben Lee also had impressive performances at the plate, each going 2-for-6, ensuring the Vikings remained competitive throughout the marathon game.
New London, however, was not to be outdone and scored twice in the 4th inning. Chev Aus led his team’s offense, going 2-for-5, while Austen Warren and Tucker Kohl added to the effort with their respective hits. Despite their best efforts, the New London hitters struggled to break through the Vikings’ pitching.

Kyle Krenke, who took the loss for New London, also pitched valiantly but ultimately fell short as the game extended into extra innings. Despite Krenke’s efforts, the New London squad was unable to overcome the Vikings’ late surge.
