The Scandinavia Vikings continued their dominant run in the Badger Amateur Baseball Association with a convincing 6-1 win over the New London Irish on Sunday afternoon, May 18, fueled by a complete-game performance from pitcher Cyle Zblewski and timely hitting from the heart of the Vikings’ lineup.
Zblewski was nearly untouchable through nine innings, scattering just four hits while striking out five and walking none.
Landon Moe, who went 2-for-5 on the day, sparked the offense.
New London starter Noah Hanson battled through five innings, allowing four hits and multiple hard-hit balls, but was unable to contain the Vikings’ attack. He was tagged with the loss.
