The 2023 theme for the Iola Car Show is “Unforgettable Fifties”, it was announced on Dec. 22.

Special guests for the event include:

Derek Bieri of Vice Grip Garage and MotorTrend’s Roadworthy Rescues.

Dennis Anderson, creator of Grave Digger, with King Sling.

Returning Favorites: Emily Reeves (Flying Sparks Garage), Von Hot Rod (Pinstriper), Greg & Leah Stelse (Greg’s Speed Shop & Pinup Clothing), Bill “Elvis” Stull (Kuzin’s Kustoms), Jo Coddington (American Hot Rod).

Iola Car Show’s celebration this year is of the great decade of 1950 – 1959.  The 1950s were key for the automobile industry with a wide range of technology, designs and mass productions beginning.  The 50s also started the base of the muscle car era.
If you have a car that fits this era, make sure to register for it when registration goes out mid-January!
