The Town of Iola Board meet on Jan. 30 in the Iola Town Hall.

Chairman Sprangers called the meeting to order at 6 p.m.

Board Members present were: Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Josh Franchuk, Denis Walter and Steve Madson.

Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.

Supervisor Faldet made a motion to approve the minutes from the Caucus from 1/3/23, Supervisor Franchuk seconded the motion and it carried.

Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the December meeting, Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.

Old Business: Roads/Bridges, Discussed snow plowing for 2023-24.

New Business: (1) Tractor/Mowing – Tractor rental is all taken care of 2023, we do need to find an operator. (2) 2022 Revenue and Expenses – Clerk Madson presented the Revenue and Expense report for 2022. After a brief discussion Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the report, Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.

Clerk Madson informed the board of Land Use permits for James and Diana Wiechert and Gary DeBruin. Shoreland permit and Building Permit for Grenke/Noah. Cutting Notices for Joe Sprangers, John Rolefson, Scott Amundson and Jerry Pitt.

Audit of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Supervisor Franchuk.

Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
