Chairman Sprangers called the Town of Iola meeting to order at 6 p.m.
Board members present were: Mark Sprangers, Bruce Faldet, Josh Franchuk, Denis Walter, and Steve Madson. Others present – Chad Bestul and Dean Lashua.
Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the agenda for the meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the Budget Hearing meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the Special Meeting on the Levy. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
Old Business
Snowplowing – Chad Bestul was in attendance to discuss the possibility of snowplowing for the township in 2020-21. Bestul will put together a formal bid and bring it to the board for the January meeting.
New Business
2020 election workers – Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to approve the election workers for 2020. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
Supervisor Faldet is looking into a new brush cutter system for the Township.
Clerk Madson informed the board of two cutting notices: Rex Rod & Gun and Judy Schmidt. Also a land use permit for Samantha Jones and James Cook.
Audit of the town books was done by Supervisor Faldet and Supervisor Franchuk.
Supervisor Franchuk made a motion to pay the monthly bills. Supervisor Faldet seconded the motion and it carried.
