The Town of Helvetia Board has announced the agenda for its regular meeting scheduled for this evening, Sept. 5, at 7 p.m., and it includes road maintenance items.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will kick off with the customary “Call meeting to order.” Citizens are encouraged to attend and actively participate in the proceedings.
The agenda for this important meeting comprises a series of crucial topics.
The meeting will begin with the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, reaffirming the town’s commitment to its values.
The board will review and seek approval for the minutes of the last regular meeting, which took place on Aug. 8.
The financial aspect of the town’s operations will be discussed, with a focus on approving town bills.
The treasurer will present a comprehensive report on the town’s financial status.
Other meetings information
A discussion on the recent meeting of the Waupaca Towns Association, attended by key representatives from Helvetia, including Jeff Oppor, Mike Grassl, Justin Hintz, and Doug Hines, will be on the agenda. This meeting, held on Aug. 17, is expected to have important implications for the town.
The board will discuss matters related to the Fire and Ambulance services, with a special note that the next meeting for this topic is scheduled for Sept. 28, at 6 p.m.
An important discussion on recycling is scheduled for Sept. 26.
Other Business
Prill will present a proposal regarding changing door locks and keys, a matter of security concern for the town.
The condition and maintenance of several roads in Helvetia will be addressed, including Moen Rd, ditch mowing updates by Justin Hintz, Cross Road, and the installation of missing road signs on Boelter Road and G, as well as County Road G and Sleepy Hollow Road.
Bill Plucker and Jeff Oppor will provide insights into the town’s Paser Rating.
The board will discuss funding related to L/Rip, with a call made to Susan Pophem. Jeff Oppor will lead this discussion.
Attention will be given to addressing issues with the screens in the Town Hall.
