The Annual Meeting of the Town of Helvetia was held at the Town Hall on April 21 and called to order by Chairman Calvin Preuss at 7 p.m.
Five town residents were present.
The minutes of the previous Annual Meeting were read by Clerk Doug Hines and approved with a motion by Jeff Oppor, second by Calvin Preuss.
The Pledge of Allegiance was cited by all.
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Town Hall tables were sanitized and attendees practiced social distancing during the meeting. This also affected the low turnout for this year.
Old Business
Blacktopping was done on Swamp Road last year.
Doug Hines presented the 2019 Financial Statement. After review, a motion to approve the 2019 Financial Statement was made by Jeff Oppor, second by Liane Gruenwald.
New Business
The Town Board is getting bids to grind up Moen Road and have the stumps removed.
Board of Review will be held April 29 from 1-3 p.m.
The 2021 Annual Meeting will be the third Tuesday in April at 7 p.m.
