The regular monthly meeting for the Town of Harrison Board was held at Northland Church on Monday, Jan. 8. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dean Lashua at 6:30 p.m.
Present at the meeting were John Phillips, Mike Schultz, Rose Troast, Becky Schultz, Brandon Schuster and Arnie Kaminski, and Fran Moen.
The Clerk’s minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved.
Treasurer Report
The beginning balance in the checkbook on Dec. 1, 2023, was $63,708.41. The total of deposits for the month was $413,965.60 and the total of expenditures was $36,548.51 leaving a balance on Dec. 31 of $441,125.50. The Money Market account had a beginning balance of $87,255.02 and $20,000 was transferred from the general checking account and the interest collated totaled $11.71 leaving a balance in the account of $107,266.73. The ARPA account had a beginning balance of $23,978.87. A sum of $16,362.38 was transferred to the general checking account and the interest collected for the month totaled $7.26 leaving a balance in the account of $7,623.75.
An ordinance that would lower the speed limit on Helgeson Road has been tabled until the March meeting. Brushing along Town roads has begun. Calls and concerns received by the Board during the month were discussed
