The regular monthly meeting for the Township of Harrison was held on Monday, Jan. 11, at Northland Church.
Chairman Dean Lashua called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Present at the meeting were Rose Troast, John Phillips, Mike Schultz, Ann Casamassa, Brandon Schuster, Jon Ann Kasson and Fran Moen.
The Clerk’s minutes from the previous meeting were read. A motion was made by Mike Schultz and second by Ann Casamassa to accept the minutes as read. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s report was given. The beginning balance on Dec. 1, 2020, was $81,740.71. The total of deposits for the month was $333,832.12 and the total of checks and withdrawals was $29,449.31 leaving a balance in the account of $386,123.52. The total for the taxes collected is $333,775.00 and the balance forward for the Town is $52,348.52. The beginning balance in the money market account was $31,949.92 and $15000 was moved from the general fund to the money market account. The amount of interest collected was $6.82 leaving a balance in the account of $46,956.74.
New Business
Brandon Schuster gave the Board an update on the road maintenance he has done on the Town Roads in the month of December.
Calls received by the Board during the month were discussed.
A motion was made by Mike Schultz and second by Ann Casamassa to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 p.m. Motion carried.
