The regular monthly meeting for the Town of Harrison was held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at Northland Church.
Chairman Dean Lashua called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Present at the meeting were Diane Troast, Bob Opperman, Brandon Schuester, Jon Ann Kasson, Mike Schultz, John Phillips, and Fran Moen.
The Clerk’s minutes from the previous meeting were read. A motion was made by Mike Schultz and second by John Phillips to accept the minutes as read. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s report was given. The beginning balance on Nov. 1, 2021, was $106,250.18. Deposits for the month totaled $11,088.36 and the total of checks and automatic withdrawals was $7,337.38 leaving a balance in the account on Nov. 30, 2021, of $110,001.16. The beginning balance in the Money Market account was $47,027.09. Interest for the month was $6.18 leaving a balance in the account of $47,033.27. There is $23,870.22 in the ARPA account.
New Business
A motion was made by John Phillips and second by Mike Schultz to appoint the following people to serve on the election board. Motion carried. They are as follows: Diane Erickson, Diana Anderson, Diane Troast, Patricia Johnson, Tracey Guzman, Carrie Powell, Sally Van Epern, and Ted Moen.
A motion was made by Mike Schultz and second by John Phillips to move $15,000 from the general checking account to the Money Market account. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Mike Schultz and second by John Phillips to allow the Town Treasurer to apply for a credit card for the Town of Harrison with a $500 spending limit. This will be used for purchases that do not accept a check for payment. Motion carried.
Calls received by the Board during the month were discussed.
