  • Karina Hass has been named middle/high school Teacher of the Month for February in the Iola-Scandinavia School District. High School Student of the Month is Rebecca Woiak and Middle School Student of the Month is Brady Kuhns.
  • The Military Appreciation Night sponsored by ISHS NHS, DECA, and FCCLA was a huge success at Iola-Scandinavia High School. Together with the Amherst NHS, over $1700 was raised for Old Glory Honor Flight and collected over 630 items for care packages to be sent out to the current military from our area.
  • February 19 at 8 a.m. is the Facebook event launch for Iola 2022 50th Anniversary Show. Grab you tickets at 50 percent off for 50 hours!
  • Time to register for the Cornhole Tournament at Northland Sports Bar and Grill! The vent will be held on Saturday, March 5, starting at noon. Entries are two-person teams, bring your own bags, race to 21, double elimination, cost $30 per team.
  • On Saturday, Feb. 11, Silver Lake Lanes is having DJ Joe Black for entertainment.
