BOYS REGIONAL SEMI-FINAL: The I-S High School Boys Varsity Basketball team will go to Edgar for the WIAA Regional Semi-Final game at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6.

Pi DAY: March 14 is Pi Day at the Crystal Café, where you can get a piece of pie for $3.14 per slice from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

FIRST PLACE: Congratulations to the I-S High School Polka Band for their starred first place at Solo/Ensemble last Saturday. They are going to state in Stevens Point on May 4.

WATERCOLOR CLASS: Local artist Carolyn Rosenberger will hold a watercolor class on Monday, March 11, at Lessons From the Art Academy in Iola. A rustic old barn will be the subject of the watercolor. The session starts at 9 a.m. and there is a cost.

RAFFLE TICKETS: The Scandinavia Volunteer Fire Department is conducting its annual Spring Fundraiser Raffle. Tickets are $20 each and only 500 tickets will be sold. The drawing is April 27. There are 10 prizes to be won. Get tickets from firefighters or at Silver Lake Lanes.
