ART CLASS: Iola’s Carolyn Rosenberger will be conducting a watercolor class painting a grouping of three Hibiscus flowers that bled into an organic background. Students will learn how to adhere rice paper to watercolor paper and paint upon it. To sign up for the class contact Carolyn at carolnrosenberger@gmail.com. The class will be conducted at Lessons From the Art Academy.

SPRING WILDFLOWER HIKE: The Portage/Waupaca Chapter of the Ice Age Trail is hosting a Spring Wildflower Hike at Skunk-Foster State Natural Area on Sunday, May 19, starting at 1 p.m. Dr. Robert Freckman, UWSP Professor Emeritus of Biology, will lead the hike.
