• IOLA NOISE ORDINANCE: The revised version of the Village of Iola Noise Ordinance will be posted on Monday, April 17 on the village’s website and will go to the full board in May for a vote.

• SAND MINE HEARING: As a result of the April 12 Town of Scandinavia public hearing on the Iola sand mine, a town Plan Commission will meet on May 3 to recommend approval or denial of the application to the town board. The town board will meet on Wednesday, May 10, to recommend the approval or denial of the application to the Waupaca County Zoning Board for a decision. The May 10 meeting is planned for the Scandinavia Municipal Center.

• ROAD WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS: Spring weight limit restrictions will end on Sunday, April 16, at 11:59 p.m. Signs will begin to be removed at that time and enforcement of limits will end.
