Thomas M. Finch

September 11, 1952 – March 22, 2023

Thomas M. Finch, 70, of Scandinavia, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, with his wife and daughter by his side after battling cancer for over 2-1/2 years.

He was born on Sept. 11, 1952, in Iola, Wisconsin to the late Harold and Jeanine (Akey) Finch.

Tom was a private, loving, family man.

He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Alayna (Lana), and granddaughter Keira. He held a special bond with his brother Harold (Pete) Finch who predeceased him and this bond continued with his sister-in-law Roberta (Lynn) Finch, nephews Mark (Dawn) Finch, Tom (Donna) Finch, and niece Tammy (Brett) Longman.

His sharp wit and humor will be forever missed by his extended family: sister-in-laws Marilyn and Kathryn, brothers-in-law Dick (Linda), Ron (Patty), Tom, and numerous great nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and friends.

Raised in Milwaukee, Tom was an army Vietnam veteran, and spent the majority of his married life living in Mequon, Wisconsin. When he retired from Ryder as a mechanic after 30 years, he moved to Scandinavia to be closer to his family. 

An avid outdoorsman, hunting with family was his favorite hobby, and it also gave him great pleasure to fix anything broken for family and friends.
