Thanks to Waupaca Foundry, many local businesses, and Jim Payton, our vision for custom classic truck bed tailgate benches has become a reality! These handcrafted pieces, featuring Waupaca Foundry and Iola Car Show logoed cast iron bench ends and solid red oak bench slats will soon grace downtown Iola and the Iola Car Show grounds.

The Iola Car Show is spearheading the fundraising effort.
“We plan to have 8-12 of them sponsored by local businesses to decorate downtown Iola and we are looking forward to having sponsored benches on the Iola Car Show grounds. Of course, you can also grab one and bring some character to your garage!” the car show email indicated.

Sponsorship costs $2,195 with $1,000 going to the Village of Iola Revitalization Committee to fund improvement projects.
