Chili Cookoff at Schmidt’s Corners Jan. 15

There will be Chili Cookoff competition at Schmidt’s Corners on Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. Make and bring your best chili. The competition will be judged by all present. Top three will win. People are needed for sampling. Cost is $3 to eat “as much as you dare”.

STEAM bags at Iola library

Family STEAM bags are now available at the Iola Village Library. The Family STEAM bags available to pick up at the library. Each bag contains three activities for all ages. This month there is a science experiment, an art challenge, and a craft project. Pick one up during open hours.
