The Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbird Boys Varsity Basketball Team earned the WIAA D-4 Regional Title with a win over Colby 69-50 on Saturday.

At half, the T-Birds were up 25-19 and then scored 44 points in the second half.

Iola-Scandinavia is the No. 1 seed with a 26-0 unblemished record. It will face Stratford (No. 2) on Thursday night for a Sectional semifinal.

Leading point scorers were: Kaden Jueds 16, Isaiah Hoyord 13, Parker Prahl 13, and Brock Wester 12.
