Softball team wants to egg your house … well, sort of

PRESS RELEASE

Iola-Scandinavia High School girls’ softball team will again be doing their “Egg My House” Easter Egg Hunt fundraiser on Saturday, March 30, the evening before Easter Sunday.

Team members will be taking orders through Friday, March 22. Most of the deliveries are in the Iola and Scandinavia areas, but we have also delivered to Waupaca, Amherst, and Stevens Point.  We do have a 30-mile limit. Note: If inclement weather becomes a factor, we will still deliver the eggs, but we will put all the eggs in a plastic bag and put the bag near the front door.

This is a great team-building experience for the girls and they love it. We enjoy packing the eggs with candy, but the real fun is to venture out and deliver the eggs. The thrill of sneaking into someone’s yard and trying to stay quiet while staying out of sight. They all wear bunny ears just in case little eyes are peeking out the window.

Also, we would be happy to take your plastic eggs back after Easter – please return them to the elementary or high school offices.

The cost this year will be $25 for 25 eggs or $30 for 35 eggs. In 2023, team members visited just over 45 houses and hid over 1500 eggs.

To place an order, complete a registration form and return with payment to the Iola-Scandinavia High School office or elementary office.  You can also email andersont@iola.k12.wi.us or leave a voice message at 715-445-2411, Ext. 5000.
