The Scandinavia Silver Lake Rehabilitation District held their quarterly meeting on April 11, in the Community Room of the Scandinavia Municipal Center.

The following Board of Commissioners were present:  David Mork, Mike Hayes, Chris Williams, Becky Morgan, Judy Watson, and Renee Smith, Secretary. Member absent: Bob Fredy.

Meeting was called to order by President Mork at 6:31 p.m. Motion made (Hayes/Morgan) that the agenda be approved as presented.  Motion carried unanimously.

Motion made (Morgan/Williams) to approve January’s meeting minutes. Motion carried unanimously.

Financial statement discussed and reviewed.

Trustee Hayes mentioned that the Silver Lake Management Committee submitted an endowment request to the Scandinavia Booster Club for $3,500 to help fund the lake management plan recently done by Onterra. The Booster Club endowment committee denied the request.

The endowment committee made a few requests last year when granting a $5,000 donation to Silver Lake. They requested a sign be installed indicating a lake management plan was in the works, what the plan consisted of, how to donate, and recognize the Booster Club for their donation. That was never done. No one from the Silver Lake Management Committee attended the meeting, nor did the Booster Club ever receive a thank you for their last donation.

Chairman Mork will sink the aeration line that broke free again. Motion made (Williams/Hayes) to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
