Members of the Scandinavia Village Board will convene for their monthly meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, in the Community Room of the Municipal Center at 349 N. Main St., where they will discuss and potentially act on infrastructure updates, funding applications and a caucus to nominate candidates for two village trustee positions ahead of the April 7 spring election, actions that will shape local governance and community development.

The meeting will commence with a call to order, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a roll call to establish quorum

Board members will then approve the January agenda and the minutes from the December meeting.

Public comment time will follow, allowing residents to address the board on relevant matters.

Under unfinished business, the board will receive updates on zoning matters, sewer operations, and the Municipal Center parking lot.

In new business, discussions will include the Ice Age Trail with input from Greg Loescher; adoption of a public depository resolution; consideration of ARIP funding; review of an LRIP application; and procurement of a refrigerator for the Municipal Center kitchen.

The board will also review pending projects before approving bills, verifying cash fund balances, and presenting year-to-date financials.

If necessary, the meeting will temporarily adjourn at 5:30 p.m. for a village caucus to nominate candidates for the two village trustee offices to be voted on in the April 7 election.

The session will resume and adjourn by  6 p.m. for the quarterly Lake District meeting.
