The Scandinavia Town Board will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Scandinavia Municipal Center, where supervisors plan to address ongoing road concerns, two junk and salvage yards, and a proposed zoning amendment.

Board members will receive reports from the clerk, treasurer, and planning commission before turning to road issues and several items of old business. Among the priorities will be updates on the Vandyke Junk/Salvage Yard and the Ron Gavin Junk/Salvage Yard, along with a discussion of Randy Stuczynski’s property on Oak Ridge Road. The board will also hear a Knauer conditional use permit update, review plans for a new 2027 ambulance for the Iola Ambulance Service, consider work on the municipal center parking lot, and discuss open positions on the town board.

In new business, the board will set a date for the Board of Review and consider a resolution on a comprehensive plan and zone map amendment for Steven Altedorf on parcel 17-02-41-2. Members will also review a resolution on Protect Local Roads.

The meeting will include approval of the agenda and clerk’s minutes, the treasurer’s report, discussion of upcoming annual and bi-annual inspections for roads and bridges, and review of bills and correspondence. Public input will be permitted, limited to three minutes per speaker.

The session comes ahead of the town’s annual meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, at 5:30 p.m.
