LAKE IOLA LAKE DISTRICT: The agenda for Thursday, March 6, Lake Iola Lake District Commissioners meeting is as follows: Call to order, agenda approval, secretary’s report, treasurer’s report, chairman’s report, and any other business. The meeting at the Iola Village Hall will start at 6 p.m. The district is still looking for interested people to operate our weed harvester this summer. Please stop at the Village Hall for an application.

STATE AG FACES ETHICS COMPLAINT: Accusations of corruption by Wisconsin’s Attorney General Josh Kaul have led to both an ethics complaint and a lawsuit in the past couple of weeks.

Kaul was exposed as accepting a quid pro quo from Democrat billionaire Micheal Bloomberg by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Dan Bice in May. Bice discovered that Kaul had hired a new special assistant attorney general to specially to fight climate change. The position was completely funded by the State Energy Impact Center (SEIC) at New York University, which is funded by Micheal Bloomberg. Read the MacIver Institute story here.
