IOLA WINTER SPORTS CLUB: The club has several major projects scheduled for 2025 including a 10-16-mile bike trail expansion, hosting a summer trail run series, and more community-related events.
IOLA WINTER CARNIVAL: The Lutefisk Supper is returning to the 2025 Iola Winter Carnival! It is limited to 200 tickets. There will also be a Craft Fair & Bake Sale. Also making a return will be Queen of the Snows and Her Court. There is the possibility of a shuttle bus to take attendees to various locations for the weekend event Jan. 31-Feb. 2.
SYTTENDE MAI 2025: Scandinavia businesses are planning a celebration for this Norwegian holiday. Syttende Mai is Norway’s Constitution Day, celebrated on May 17 each year. It marks the signing of the Norwegian Constitution in 1814 at Eidsvoll, which declared Norway an independent nation.
