Roy Kolak

July 20, 1935 – September 12, 2024

Roy Kolak, 89, of Tomball, Texas, formerly of Iola, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024, with his family at his side.

He was born on July 20, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, to Mike and Magdelina (Vrovsky) Kolak.

Roy married Marlene Probst on Dec 1, 1965.  She preceded him in death on Jan 1, 2011.

Roy was a Police Officer for the City of Chicago for 27 years.

He is survived by his son Michael (Cynthia) Kolak and grandson Steven Kolak.

A Memorial Service will be held for Roy at the Hitterdahl Lutheran Church in Iola on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m.  The Rev. Dale Wilson will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9-10 a.m. Interment will be at Hitterdahl Lutheran Cemetery.
