Rosalind Serene Anderson, 78, of Iola, passed away on Sunday, Sept.13, 2020.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1941 to Robert and Thelma (Thompson) Goli at Iola, Wisconsin. On Oct. 30, 1967 she married Allan Anderson at Hitterdahl Lutheran Church in Iola.

Rosalind worked on the family farm in the Town of Helvetia. She also worked at Zwicker Knitting Mills in Waupaca for 13 years. She was a member at Hitterdahl Lutheran Church where she served as secretary and sang in the choir. She was treasurer for the Town of Helvetia for 40 years.

Rosalind enjoyed sewing, making wedding dresses and was a talented seamstress and “zipper repair” person. Rosalind was very proud of her Norwegian Heritage: making lefse and pastries along with working at the annual Norwegian Suppers at the Iola Winter Carnival and Northland Lutheran Church. She volunteered for many things along with working at the Iola Old Car Show. Rosalind adored her grandchildren; attending many of their school events and activities.

Rosalind is survived by: her loving spouse Allan; two sons, Paul Anderson, Todd (Dixie) Anderson, all of Iola; grandchildren Madelynn, Carter and Morgan; sister Jane (David) Skowen of New London and Texas; sister-in-law Linda Goli of Iola. She was preceded in death by Father, Robert Goli, Mother, Thelma Goli, and Brother, Phillip Goli.
A Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 1 p.m. at the Hitterdahl Lutheran Church, with Rev. Dale Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. The family requests that those attending, please wear a mask.
