We at the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office want victims of Domestic Violence and Elder Abuse to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel for your fur babies too. The staff at the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office learned about this great organization and we want to make sure the citizens we serve know about it as well.

Hidden Paws Network, INC. is a multifaceted 501 C 3 founded in 2018 to assist the victims of Domestic Violence and Elder Abuse through fostering the victim’s pets as they transition into a safer environment. Partnering with Golden House of Green Bay, Harbor House of Appleton, and Room to be Safe for the LGBTQ Community of Wisconsin, HPN aids in the victim’s ability to escape potentially dangerous situations. HPN looks to the community for help building their foster base, volunteering, and monetary donations to further their mission.

All animals are deserving of a loving home. The sad reality is that in the midst of Domestic Violence and Elder Abuse, the pet many times are abused as well, kept in stressful situations when a loving pet owner doesn’t want to leave a dangerous situation for fear of having to leave their beloved pet behind, or they end up in an animal shelter because there is nowhere else for them to go when a victim is seeking a safer environment. HPN can help with that.
