Ray Przekurat, outgoing School District of Iola-Scandinavia administrator, has been named a president of Pacelli Catholic Schools in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
The announcement was made on the schools’ Facebook page. The appointment is effective July 1.
The announcement reads:
Pacelli Catholic Schools (PCS) is excited to announce the hiring of a new president, Ray Przekurat, effective July 1, 2023. Przekurat will oversee all aspects of the school system’s operations including fundraising and development, messaging and public relations, budgeting, and supporting the school administrators.
Przekurat has over 25 years of Educational experience with 19 years of administrative roles. For the past six years he has been the District Administrator for the Iola-Scandinavia School District. Prior to that, Przekurat was the Director/Superintendent of Wright Technical Center in Buffalo, MN for four years. He worked in the Mosinee School District for 15 years as a Technology Education Instructor, Associate Principal, and Principal. He has been involved with Kiwanis, Mosinee Area Action Club, Buffalo Rotary, Iola Lions, and The Wright County Economic Development Partnership.
Just recently, he became a 4th-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Przekurat holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology Education, a Masters in Educational Leadership, and a sixth-year certification in Educational Administration and Leadership. He has a Wisconsin lifetime license as a superintendent.
