The North Dakota State Bison football team won its 10th national FCS Division 1 title on Monday, Jan. 6, against Montana State 35-32.
Both teams featured outstanding quarterbacks, each making critical plays throughout the game including a 64-yard scamper down the middle for a touchdown.
As important as the quarterbacks were in the game, NDSU Head Coach Tim Polasek’s coaching and clock management were also important defining factors in its outcome.
The team’s defense, helped by the coaching of Nick Goeser, Co-Defensive Coordinator / Defensive Tackles, also was impressive in its execution in the game.
