Chili Cookoff at Schmidt’s Corners Jan. 15

There will be Chili Cookoff competition at Schmidt’s Corners on Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. Make and bring your best chili. The competition will be judged by all present. Top three will win. People are needed for sampling. Cost is $3 to eat “as much as you dare”.

Village of Scandinavia Caucus Jan. 11

The Village Caucus for the Village of Scandinavia will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 6 p.m. in the Scandinavia Municipal Center. The caucus will place in nomination candidates for the officers of two village trustees to be voted on in the ensuing spring election on April 5.
